Please note that one player will be given one (higher) prize only
Players having the FIDE rating of 2000 & below as on 1-1-2024
are only allowed to participate in this event.
Any player who finished 1st or 2nd in the rating restricted
FIDE rated event for the last one year (18-1-2023 to 17-1-2024) are
not eligible to participate.
Karnataka Players: ₹ 4,000/-
All other Players: ₹ 5,000/-
Only one of the following discounts can be availed
- Early bird offer of 10% off if registered on or before 20-10-2023
- ₹ 1000/- off if registered for both categories B and C on or before 5-12-2023
No spot entries will be accepted. No request towards waiver/refund of entry fee or waiver
of late fee will be entertained.
Players opting to play Category B and Category ‘C’ will get ₹ 1000 discount in entry fee.(Early
bird offer not applicable). This discount is available only up to 5th December 2023.
SYSTEM OF PLAY:
The tournament will be conducted as per
FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss
System with 10 rounds
TIE BREAK:
In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall
come in to effect
The Cash prizes however will not be shared
TIME CONTROL:
60 Minutes plus 30 second increment
from move 1
